About:

A New band in Town. Singapore's local band, Avian Sixty Four have come a long way since late 2006. Drawing influences from musicians MUSE, The Killers, Radiohead, The Great Spy Experiment and Electrico, the band’s music can only be described as ‘everythings nice'.

Till now, Avian Sixty Four is still virtually unknown due to the full schedule of life and music. Still experimenting with their sounds to get a perfect cure for the people's blocked ears.

Under independent label of BonSoundLab Studios, all recordings were done and mixed by Born, engineer of BSLS and the band's guitarist. Avian Sixty Four is also currently managed by Vixio Media.

Their debut unreleased EP (Born With Wings) was given out for free distribution in December 5th, the band's first year anniversary. Still working on their mini album which roughly will be release on their 2nd anniversary.

Greetings Avian Sixty-Four,

It's been a long time since I've last met up with you guys. I've been busy lately. Yes, even after school ends, I'm still a busy girl. My MSN has some shit problem and best still, my comp is suffering from retardation. That's why I'm seldom online. What's more when I get to go online, I don't see A64 group and some other friends of mine too. MSN deleted them? You guys had been a great crazy ppl to have helluva fun with. I'm glad that I had learnt some band stuffs from A64; From writing lyrics to composing or vice versa, recording, different jamming places offering different standard of instruments, places which sell band stuffs, and politcs exist too. It's a great experience jamming with you all the time. I didn't get to join for the NDP performance. That's a waste for me.

Yet sad to say, once again, this time round, I'm serious about it. I wanna quit the band. I really have to do so. I have personal reasons and I've thought it through. I strongly understand that this will affect the band. I hope you guys can find a replacement as soon as possible or carry on without me. I believe A64 is capable even if there isn't a keyboardist.

I'll always support A64.

VALERIE

It's Recording Time..... Argh!!!

Next two or three weeks we're gonna hit the studios to record Drum tracks for our 2 new songs "Somethings Are Better Left Unsaid" and "I Fell In Love Before I Met You". Also we gonna prepare our 'Acoustic Mini Album' before November. Roughly releasing the Acoustic Album next year (If everyone works hard!!). For the drumtracks, maybe we're hitting Beats Studio or Blueprint or some other studios. Definitely not Zai Studios. The rest will be done at BonSoundlab Studios. Haha. But at different studio location. It's time to get mobile!! So everyone get your stuff ready. Valerie and Diandra let ur skills out girls! Valerie, prepare your keyboards and synth stuff and Diandra, get ready with your piano and violin. It's gonna be cool. Listen to the "Sound Engineer", everything's gonna be fine.... =)
