Thx Leona!
I don't really believe in blogging but since I have nothing to do and the other members seemed to not posting an entry. I would like to take this initiative upon myself to post the official post for the band.
So..to start off I will introduce myself. I'm Wan, drummer of this band. Actually I'm not their original drummer when they are formed. I guess there's 2 or 3 person before me. Anyways, I officially joined them on 5th of December 2006. That day I was actually jamming with my other friend, Dale who wanted to try out his new pick-ups he just installed on his guitar. Coincidentaly, A64 at that time wanted to jam too. So we ended up at the same jamming studio and they were in the other room while I'm in another. After some time jamming with my friend, I decided to go into the room A64 were in. At that time, Zal was filling in for the drummer. So they played Hazi Syndrome and I thought to myself the song was actually not bad. After they played it once, Zal asked me to play the song as he wanted to play the guitar. At that time, I only knew Zal, Shark and Val. It felt good.
So after the jam, they proposed to me to join. Honestly, at first I hesitated because I don't wanna be in a band who only jam for fun. But I gave them a shot and until now I'm still here.
So what now?? We are getting ready for a music project. We are making acoustic versions of our songs just to experiment different things. It will start around mid to late September. So do look out for acoustic songs by us.
P.S Guys...expect some posts from you all ok.....?
About:
A New band in Town. Singapore's local band, Avian Sixty Four have come a long way since late 2006. Drawing influences from musicians MUSE, The Killers, Radiohead, The Great Spy Experiment and Electrico, the band’s music can only be described as ‘everythings nice'.
Till now, Avian Sixty Four is still virtually unknown due to the full schedule of life and music. Still experimenting with their sounds to get a perfect cure for the people's blocked ears.
Under independent label of BonSoundLab Studios, all recordings were done and mixed by Born, engineer of BSLS and the band's guitarist. Avian Sixty Four is also currently managed by Vixio Media.
Their debut unreleased EP (Born With Wings) was given out for free distribution in December 5th, the band's first year anniversary. Still working on their mini album which roughly will be release on their 2nd anniversary.
